Hogar series
The Hogar series was created during my last trip to my home -Cochabamba, Bolivia- in November, 2024. After living abroad for four years, this trip highlighted how much my perception of home has changed as my understanding of myself has shifted. The photographs freeze spaces and moments in warm tones, showcasing my longing and nostalgia for Cochabamba. Simultaneously, cutouts disrupt the scene, representing my layered feelings. During my visit I wrote:
“I walk these streets and see everything that was, a mirage of what could have been (and never will be), and a reflection of who I am.”
